Star Captain Jasmine, of the House of Yung, has been described over the bast few years both as an "upstart wisp of a girl" and "an incarnation of the diamond shark." The latter description is beginning to take hold. A descendant of an obscure Bloodname house that Clan Diamond Shark shares with Clans Coyote and Goliath Scorpion, her precociousness first showed in her sibko, where she challenged an instructor to a Trial of Grievance and won. In her Trial of Position, she claimed three victories and came within ten tons of a Deasthstrike decoration. She instigated a melee once she had claimed two victories and her sib partner one, then turned her guns on her sibmate and cut the legs off his 'Mech. She requested Gamma Galaxy for its then-current status as the primary front-line combat Galaxy, but with no billets open she challenged for a Trinary in the Emerald Skate. She has since accepted and defeated twelve challenges for their position. Jasmine lacks a Bloodname because no Trials for the Yung name have been held in the past few years. With the recent death of Goliath Scorpion's Star Command Tobias Yung, Jasmine will get her chance to claim a Bloodname as the second or third youngest ever to do so.
