Sullivan Koga has spent more than half of her career in the Golden Keshik, where she served as Khan Robin Steele's adjutant. When Khan Steele's health began to falter, Koga became her champion, fighting the Coyote Council and in numerous Circles of Equals to defend her Khan's right to lead the Clan. When Steele finally retired in 3052, Sullivan Koga and three others were named as potential successors. By the time the vote was called, after a week of debate in Clan Council, Koga had rallied most of the Clan's warriors behind her and was elected Khan. Since that time, she has made sweeping changes to the Clan's fighting arm. Khan Koga began to reorganize the Coyote Touman in 3052, over the objections of a great many of her commanders, and the reshuffling has only recently been completed. Several Clusters have been disbanded, as well as four entire Galaxies. The warriors of these defunct units were transferred to other Galaxies and Clusters in the Touman, boosting the numbers of each. As a result, though it looks smaller on paper, the Coyote Touman retains the strength it had before Koga became Khan. |
