I walked into the briefing room, my eyes scanning the chamber intensely as I strode toward the frontmost row of seats and eased into a chair directly beside General Maxwell. Noticing my approach, the General nodded respectfully before turning back to face the podium. This would be my first Operation with the Major's father; I was interested in seeing if his mettle on the battlefield lived up to the rumors.Catching up with Captain Garland and MechWarrior Thorn as they made their way down the corridor, I exchanged glances with the pair briefly.

"Captain; MechWarrior."

Garland nodded at me curtly.

"Thastus."“So… Aisa, you’ll be joining us on this mission?”

I nearly choked on a mouthful of processed protien supplement and rehydrated vegatable extract as Saburo put forth the question. Kei-teh Kintaru's brother had never been one for small talk; the words came as a shock, both due to their unexpected appearence and the inane subjec
"...we are all alive though, aren't we so perhaps we should give him the benefit of the doubt?"

By the near-hysterical screams of the Delta Team members and th

"We need to work together. We need to put aside our differences."

Tears began to well in my eyes. It was an unusual and unnatural reaction for me, let alone any self-respecting member of a crusader Clan. I wiped them away angrily, and took a deep, shuddering breath. Weeks of torture, sensory deprivation, and starvation had at l
"Aisa, what do you have that could help us out of here? All I have is a small pocket knife, and a large string."

Slowly, quietly, I rolled up the leg of my bright orange prison jumpsuit, and withdrew the single item I had managed to abscond with. It was a small Phillips-head screwdriver, one lifted from a technician's toolk
