Custom Infantry Weapons

This will be a collection of detailed information regarding any custom infantry weapons that I design or create throughout our MercNet RPG missions. All weapons will be using the "A Time of War" system for stats and I intend to make them as balanced and canonical as I can. I'll include any special information as well as links to canonical weapons I base them off of and any links to real-world weapons I used for inspiration as needed.

Everyone is welcome to add their own stuff in here as well if desired, but by no means is required.  (I'm just doing this to help me stay organized, lol)

KTS Pump-Action Shotgun

    ---A Time of War (ATOW) Stats---
        Armor Piercing/Damage: 3B/5S for buckshot, 5B/5 for slug
        Range: 5/12/24/50 meters for buckshot, 7/18/28/62 meters for slug
        Shots: 6 + 6 (twin tube mags) + 1 (in chamber)
        Mass/Reload : 4.5kg/20g (per shell), 120g/mag

Buckshot is standard 00 buck (normal large game hunting round)
Saboted Slug is a shaped 1oz slug using a sabot to provide rifling and increased velocity, resulting in greater range and armor piercing but no splash damage (under ATOW rules)

KTS (Kuritan Tactical Shotgun) Pump-Action Shotgun 
    Based loosely on KSG shotgun (base model)
    Bull-pup design, 26" overall length, 12 gauge 3" shells
    Twin underbarrel tubular magazine (6 round capacity each), manually loaded, selector to switch between mags
    Pump-action, accessory rails, pistol grip
    Can list ammo as individual shells or as "mags" (though that is just to make it easier, there are no mags or speed loaders for the gun)
    Generally use Red shells for buckshot, Black shells for slug
    Use standard Combat Shotgun (sarna.net) stats for buckshot ammo
    Based on Avenger CCW shotgun the slug round has increased armour pen (using +2 instead of the CCW's +3)

GA King Slayer Gyroslug Carbine

    ---A Time of War (ATOW) Stats---
        Armor Piercing/Damage: 4B/5
        Range: 23/65/130/285 meters
        Shots: 20
        Mass/Reload : 5.5kg/2.0kg 
        Notes: Gyrojet - no damage falloff, "silent", no recoil, leaves visible "cone" exhaust trail

GA King Slayer Gyroslug Carbine (Free Worlds League Bull-pup Gyrojet rifle)
    Based on Star King Gyroslug Carbine
    Bull-pup design, manufactured by Grumman Amalgamated on Shiro III (Duchy of Andurien)
    Slightly heavier weapon weight (5.5kg vs 5.2kg) but lighter mag weight (2.0kg vs 2.3kg) compared to Star King
    Other stats are the same

Wolf M30T Pistol

        Armour Piercing/Damage: 4B/5
        Range: 7/30/60/110 meters
        Shots: 17
        Mass/Reload: 0.95kg/0.025kg
        Notes: +1 attack modifier in low light; range modifiers: +2/+1/0/-1

Wolf M30T Pistol
    From Shrapnel Issue #3, pg 112
    Common FWL sidearm
    Powerful, solid weapon
    Assuming 0.45cal pistol (roughly equivalent to 0.45 ACP [M1911])

Excerpt from Shrapnel Magazine
The M30 is a common sidearm in Free World League Military
units, and has been for a few hundred years. The current version, the
M30T, varies little from older models, being only a few grams lighter,
and square-notched rear sights allows accurate shooting in poor light.
It is not uncommon for FWLM officers to carry the same M30 their
grandparent did.

AA Gemini Twin-Barrel Pistol

        Armour Piercing/Damage: 4B/5 (single shot)  -  4B/10 (double shot)
        Range: 20/40/80/150 meters
        Shots: 8x2
        Mass/Reload: 1.5kg/0.1kg
        Notes: If small arms skill < 3 -1 attack modifier, if small arms skill > 3 +1 attack modifier; range modifiers: +2/+1/0/-1
                    If firing both barrels and attack roll is successful both rounds hit same target location, if attack roll fails both rounds miss

AA Gemini Pistol
    From Shrapnel Issue #3, pg 116
    Uncommon Federated Suns sidearm
    Powerful, solid weapon with a high learning curve
    Assuming 0.45cal pistol (roughly equivalent to 0.45 ACP [M1911])
    Loosely based on AF2011-A1 pistol [Dueller Prismatic variant] (essentially 2 M1911-A1s mated together)

Excerpt from Shrapnel Magazine
An unusual design, the Gemini features twin barrels, triggers, 
magazines, and hammers, set up side by side and built so the shooter
can fire each barrel singly or both barrels at the same time. The Gemini
has a high learning curve for a novice shooter, but is effective and easy
to manage for an expert.

  L5-C - pulse laser carbine
    ---Stats---
        Armour Piercing/Damage : 4E/4B
        Range : 100/200/400/800 meters
        Shots : 7PP/shot 
        Mass/Reload : 5.5kg/(per power pack)
        Notes : Burst 6, Recoil 0; Range modifiers +2/+1/0/0; Convertible (see below)

  L5-L - sniper laser rifle
    ---Stats---
        Armour Piercing/Damage : 7E/5
        Range : 135/270/540/1100 meters
        Shots : 15PP/shot 
        Mass/Reload : 7.5kg/(per power pack)
        Notes : Range modifiers +3/+2/+1/0; -3 to perception check to notice beam; Convertible (see below)
    * Convertible - all 3 models can be converted between each with a skill of Technician/Weapons (Small Arms) +2 or greater
                    requires 2 hours to convert with no skill check (above minimum requirement, no roll required)
                    Can be completed in 20 rounds (100s / 1min 40s) with standard skill check
                    Each skill level above +2, reduce rounds required by 2/level (10s/level) to a minimum of 10 rounds (50s)
                    4.5kg for base components -> L5-S = +2.0kg / L5-C = +1.0kg / L5-L = +3.0kg -> total weight for all 3 weapons/components = 10.5kg

DWS L5 Weapon System
    From Shrapnel Issue #9, pg 92
    Lyran Commonwealth convertible weapons system (3 in 1)
        3 weapons based around the same core components
        Competent Tech can covert between any given "mode" in about 2 hours with ease
    All weapons have solid performance
    Weapon uses a custom twin power pack receiver in a bullpup design which loads behind the primary handle
    Also has a universal power port for connected "external" power packs such as a satchel or military power pack and is capable of using standard single power packs as well
    Each weapon has a different sized adjustable stock with a storage compartment (small, medium, or large) dependent on size of the stock, all stocks are interchangeable on all models
    Each weapon mounts a different optic but all are interchangeable (Standard - 2x-4x digital scope / Carbine - 1x red dot/holosight w/2x flip down magnifier / Sniper - 4x-12x telescopic sight)
    Each weapon uses a different length barrel, all are interchangeable (Standard - 18" / Carbine - 14" / Sniper - 22")
    All weapons use a customizable trigger/handle assembly with an integrated data port/cable for connection to a helmet HUD (targeting reticule and ammo count) and can be equipped with biometric security systems
    Foregrip is interchangeable with each model having a different variant (Standard - normal foregrip / Carbine - vertical foregrip / Sniper - normal foregrip w/removable fold-down bipod)
    Standard and Carbine have a green laser, Sniper has a blue laser - longer barrel has an amplifier built in that increases power (and frequency/wavelength) of the emitted laser (also has slight charge up before firing)

The L5 is actually three different weapons built around the same
core components. A competent weapons technician can convert one L5
to either of the other two configurations in about two hours. The L5S is
a standard laser rifle, the L5C is a pulse-laser carbine for urban combat,
and the L5L is a sniper weapon. All three boast solid performance, with
both the L5C and L5L among the better rifles in their class.

Personal Artillery Cannon 20mm (PAC-20) Bullpup Grenade Launcher

        Armor Piercing/Damage: 'A'-class ordnance (see below); 3B/4 (when firing "dummy"/non-explosive round)
        Range: 40/110/260/400 meters - up to 650m indirect fire
        Shots: 8
        Mass/Reload : 6.0kg/2.0kg 
        Notes:  Non-explosive rounds can have ballistic damage just from impact of the large round
                     Heavy, but manageable, recoil
                     Default holo sight optics, compatible with all optics
        Available 'A'-class Ordnance:
            Anti-Personnel (AP) - [2X/8A dmg, 2m lethal/8m max blast radius]
            High Explosive (HE) - [4X/6A dmg, 4m lethal/6m max blast radius]
            Flare                          - [Illuminates 50m radius, lasts 25 seconds]
            Gas                            - [3m radius, lasts 1-2 minutes (4D6 turns), dmg depends on gas type used] (eg, Tear Gas 1S/5ACD)
            Smoke                       - [3m radius, lasts 1-2 minutes (4D6 turns)]
            Flash                         - [2S/2AD dmg, 2m blast]

    Based on Neopup/Inkunzi PAW-20 - Wikipedia - Neopup PAW-20 / Forgotten Weapons - Inkunzi PAW-20
    Lyran-made Bull-pup design, 33" overall length, offset handle/trigger assembly (on right side), collapsible to 30" for transport/carrying
    Fires 20mm x 42mm self-propelled Class 'A' ordnance (grenades), accurate to 400m direct fire, 650m indirect fire
    Operates on inertial forces for cycling/operation and has a hydraulic recoil dampening system (no gas system)
    Entire weapon recoils into stock minimizing recoil for user (still significant, it is still a 20mm "cannon" being fired) and allows standing fire with relative ease
    Weapon can be compressed roughly 3" shorter (making use of the recoil design) to allow easier transport 
        This also safely disables the firing mechanisim mechanically separately from the trigger safety (actually physically separates trigger from firing pin)
