This underground level of Site 187 features the crew barracks, a spiraling compound built inside of Silo 1. Each crewmember has his or her own small, yet comfortable set of quarters within.

Dimly lit, each apartment's mood lighting creates a soothing, warm environment. A small alcove accommodates a twin bed, and an artificial window inset into the far wall of the alcove displays a simulated, customizable view.

The mess hall is immense, and doubles as a meeting hall when not in use. Five long, bench-style tables dominate the open space here, and cafeteria-style foodservice windows and food buffets occupy the far end of the hall. The invigorating scent of food being prepared makes you hungry, and you eye the spread to see what today's menu might include.

Beagle Active Probe
Beagle Active Probe are excellent reconnaissance tools. Their main use is to reveal hidden units before they can initiate a surprise attack. They cannot detect infantry or mines, or penetrate ECM suites, however. All Recon 'Mechs should carry a Beagle Active Probe. It is also a good idea to mount a Beagle Probe on Combat and Assault 'Mechs in case they lead an advance into enemy territory.
