All MechWarriors report for duty. Please indicate your Battlemech preference, light, medium, or heavy. (This will determine your lance and 'mech. And we need to know how many MechWarriors we have to construct a proper company.)
Cpt Garrett Locke Garland - Light Cpt Desparado - Heavy Lt Ian Reilley - Medium Sgt Jason Harris - Medium/Heavy Lt James Marshall Norrington - Centurion (Medium) Charles Maxwell - Bushwacker (Medium) Phoenix - Urbanmech (Light - with the speed of an Assault ) Sona - Uziel (Medium) Frank Reade - Hollander (Light) Sergeant Alex Thorn - Medium Nick Schuster - Light
Note: ranks and command hierarchy subject to change. The more the merrier. Wouldn't mind some more people taking light 'Mechs. We are shooting for twelve mechwarriors.
I gonna say heavy but all of the mechs I'm thinking of are prolly clan tech or are very recent. I'm crossing my fingers for another Maurader but if not we'll see what happens. Heavy or Medium preferred.
Lt Ian Reilley profficient in medium mechs, ankle biting tactics
Sargent Jason Harris heavy/medium preferred excellent brawler but enjoys fire support and indirect roles better.
I can use them as placement fillers but also I can eleminate one if need be. I've been thinking about doing that very thing for a few weeks but won't make any fianl choice until I draw The Reunion and the current timeline together.
for this operation, I will be using my variant of the raptor 'mech. this variant is a scout 'mech. this message was posted via the message tech handheld personal computer device, at 29:42 on january 8th, 307 by its owner, wedge lourde.
Heh, sorry for the snide comment btw. For this OP, I was thinking that we'd pilot some of the older style 'mechs - we're a little strapped for cash right now and can't afford some of the newer styles GDL Core and Clan technologies. I was thinking we keep it all level 1 tech essentially. If you're really adament about the Raptor that would be no problem though.
Of course you can give loadouts! The only trouble is that those damn 'Mech suppliers on Galatea have such steep prices in this day and age... terrible if we couldn't afford newer technology...
Keep the list coming boys. If you want a surprise, just say the class of ‘Mech you wish to pilot. And I’ll let my Battlemech be randomly selected from a handful at the end.
Oh yes, the Uziel is an Inner Sphere 'mech, although it most certainly was not around in the Stone Ages. It's in TRO3067, so it was commissioned quite recently. It is possible that one may have found its way into the hands of a Galatean.
Damn those clanners! They've got all the cool mechs!
The only IS mechs I care for have been recently comissioned or are assault class!
Blah! Research isn't yeilding pleasing results either but it will be a lot more realistic. I think it'd be better if we literally drew mechs names from a hat and said that it was the best we could do.
