Okay I was reading some of the posts that Talus was making and I had a question. I have been here a year and a half now and I dont even know what the chain of command is around here. I just know Ben, Garrett, and Desperado are above me. Anyone else I am missing?
So if someone could, it would be nice to list the chain of command, cause I have gotten confused before.

Organised ranks are always good... Sorry for any confusion I may have caused if that matters

Dont worry.
The only real structure I know about in the BattleTech universe is the structure used by most clans. I dont think that would work for us though. So I really dont know we could use.
Hey guys. Im sorry, but once again I'm gonna have to postpone my posting for a while. I have had a major falling out this past weekend. For some reason I cant change my avatar. Want something new since we are restarting
There we go. Got it to work
I wish I could contribute. But I'm really tight on money (working 2 days a week at minimum wage due to class and have a car payment to make) and cant at the time. If need be come later I will gladly help. I finish school next semester so hopefully after that I can get a job and can help with this stuff
Well Keith inspired me to do some artistic work. This is supposed to represent my character and the fact that he is from Clan Wolf-in-Exile. Now before you all get gung-ho about this drawing I have a few notes on it. First of all it was done completely digitally. Second I took two digital paintings done by Andrew Berends and Kev Crossley. I took them, combined them to my liking, and basically traced them and made a few changes as I went along. Yes its not my own completely but once I get some mo
Ben I use a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet. Its a little small for my taste ( the actual pen area is like 4x6). I would love to have one of the larger ones that has the screen in it but I cant afford the $2000 for one, but I enjoy using it. On another note I will try and get a post up later today. I have to get some stuff done this morning so I should have a post up by tonight
I'm gonna kind of start my character over a bit since we started over
I hit the streets in the pouring rain. Everyone on this stravag planet seemed to like me, even though I was no longer part of Clan Wolf-in-Exile. After failing my Trial of Position, I decided to head to the Inner Sphere to try and make a living for myself
"Control. Schuster speaking."
I was just about leave when the answer came through the speaker. I got close to the microphone so I didnt have to yell and make the person deaf from hearing me yell.
"My name is Alex Thorn. I am a Mechwarrior looking for an outfit to join.
"I understand you're looking for work. What's your background?"
I stood my ground and looked him in the eye as I explained my past.
"I come from the planet Arc-Royal. I am a former member of Clan Wolf-in-Exile under House Kerensky. I failed my Trial of Positio
"I don't know that we could afford to keep you."I nodded my head. "That is quite alright. I just need some place to work. Food and shelter will be sufficient for now."
The man nodded in return.
The "interview" if you wanted to call it that with Marcus was short. I liked that, being a Clanner, yet there was something about it that bothered me. Then it hit me. The Legionnaires are not used to working with a Clansmen. Captain Maxwell was the only one that seemed to be comfortable around me. I nodded to Schuster as he walked in.
"Is there a place were I can get some dr
I watched as the scene unfolded before me. Sergeant Hobson shared his concern with me, and I too felt some concern for someone who had never lifted a gun in his life joining us. The man continued to give his accomplishments. In Clan society his achievements would make a science caste member bow in reverence but make a warrior caste member scoff. I was ready to take on the challenge of training him if Captain Maxwell permitted me to.<
The two days I had to train Lance were filled with drills, shooting ranges, and several lectures. I could see in his eyes the first day that he really wanted to pilot a 'Mech, but I knew that with the time frame we were in and with the danger of the mission there would be no way to teach him that. I did however teach him the basics after convincing Captain Maxwell to let Lance rid in my 'Mech in the extra seat that was in it.
"All MechWarriors: prepare for hot-drop. We are beginning our descent."
It was finally time for us to embark on our mission. I quickly went to my room and grabbed Lance. Fortunately he had already prepared his gear and his rifle. As much as I cared for his safety I had told him he needed to keep his clothes to a degre
There was one "death" my character had that I thought was sweet. I think Ben did the post for me (it was a time I had to take a temporary break). I was piloting a Fafnir and it was the WoB Jihad. Basically in the post I held them off so everyone could escape. I cant find the post or which Op it was in but I thought that was a cool sort of "death". My character was later revived when I came back in a WoB concentration camp.
