Help?

Okay I need some help here guys. I actually trust yall enough to ask this. Heh. I normally wouldnt ask my other friends this but hey you guys are cool enough.

Anyway, in about four months me and my girlfriend will be dating for one year. Now I need some help on what I should get her for a present. Your probably thinking you have time but I want it to be perfect if you know what I mean. I know I'm already going to get her a flower arrangement of 12 roses, but I want to get her something else. Any ideas?

Just so you know she isnt much on jewelry. My original idea is not going to work. Its going to have to come later. So any suggestions would be great. Thanks guys.

Flowers are always nice, but I think you should consider a gift that would be specific and personal to her. What did you do on your first date? Do you have any mementos or keepsakes from that? Maybe you could incorporate something to remind her of how you two met with a personal gift (like something she's had her eye on for a while, or something she needs). Flowers are definitely a start, but if you really want to impress, you need to give her something that shows that you know something about her and you appreciate the times you've had over the past year together.

Just my two cents' worth!! biggrin.gif
I second Schuster's ideas.

I'd shy away from something following a theme of what she likes though. For example, if she collects stuffed animals, don't get her one this time. It'll seem too easy and won't make your gift as special.

Be creative and make it mean something.
Thanks guys. I already have an idea. She loves taking pictures and she has been wanting a nicer digital camera. Soo I think Im gonna be getting her that. So yeah. Thanks for the advice though guys. Kinda got me thinking about what she likes and what she has been wanting. Thanks again.
I third that emotion!

Digital camera is the way to go as it has benefits for the future!

When she takes a picture of you two together, get ahold of the file and send it off to get professionally printed (glossy/mat finish, whichever you prefer). THEN you can get a nice hearts/lovey dovey frame for the picture and give it to her for valentines day!

There, all sorted wink.gif
In 7th grade, I got my first girlfriend a half-eaten box of Buncha Cruch and a Mountain Dew. It didn't work.

As for gifts, get her something that will suprise her. Don't go too over the top, you don't want to waste a week's worth of salary and then have her break up with you a month later...

If she dosen't have an iPod, that would certainly be something that would suprise her. Ask her what some of her favorite songs are (If you don't already know tongue.gif) and put 'em on the iPod.

That's what I did for my girlfriend smile.gif
