“Sir… I’m afraid Major Maxwell is busy with a guest… if I can take your name and telephone number, we can get straight back to you with an appointment-”
“Christ lady, I’ve already told you! SAM Grisham! Maxwell already knows me, so cut me some
I watched Maxwell’s bewildered gaze glance over the mass amounts of paper work that had spewed over his desk. He took another look at my paper work, then at myself, then again at the same paperwork. Eventually he put it flat on the table and gave me a long, deep stair. His interlocked fingers became a fist, to which he gently rested the lower portion of his face against.
The twilight sky began to cast dark shadows that seemed to eerily fit with the area’s equally dark tone. Night time Gellen’s Heights was not a pretty sight. I knew from experience.
It had only been a few hours since I had left the Legionnaire’s base, or more precisely, the base’s medical bay.
Just a few hours ago…
“You boys
“There… that sorts your left arm…” Replied the aging MacDoogle. He took a long drag on the cigarette that was embraced by his thin lips.
“Christ, them Legionnaire boys sure know how to tango!” he sighed, letting out
DiForenza thrashed around like a wild animal. He screamed and shrieked like a dieing boar. He had been transformed from a heavy set criminal into a walking fireball. Napalm was truly a horrific weapon. I watched the million c-bill bounty drop and roll into a puddle. However it was futile. Napalm was designed to keep its victims ablaze for as long as possible. The flammable substance was like Vaseline, thick and gooey in texture. The
Camelot - the result of many hours spent rebuilding site 187. It’s halls and corridors were filled with the hustle and bustle of busy personnel, each of them working feverously with their various tasks. However, I barely noticed the busy bees as I rushed through the bee hive that was Camelot.
“Shit… I’m late…”A feeling of extreme excitement slapped me in the face, causing my eyes to spread wide and my jar to hit my chest. I was strapped in securely to my seat as the Liberty threw itself into the deep sky of Sheratan and into the deeper emptiness of space. I was completely riveted. As soon as the order was given, I flew out of my seat and ran straight towards one of the port side windows that sat closest to me.
The vending machine groaned and gargled, making a sound very similar to that of an upset stomach. Finally, after much strain, the machine vomited out the meal I had selected. Apparently, the yellow, lumpy slime was “Roast pork in a rich apple source”.
“For the love of God…” I moaned, my head sinking and my eye
I sat anxiously in my seat, strapped up tighter than a pervert in a gimp suit. Nathan Sat opposite me, Wedge to my right as Alex Torn began strap himself into his seat next to Nathan. Excitement washed over me and I soon began to feel like I was a nine year old desperately waiting in line at a theme park ride. My hands jittered excitedly as they gripped they arms of the chair. My feet tapped wildly as the pit of my stomach began to f
Meanwhile, aboard the Liberty...
“Grisham! Another cup of coffee!” one of the engineers shouted, arousing a hoard of laughter from the table that housed five other technicians. I grumbled lightly, biting my tongue
“It’s about time I was called!” I thundered, slinging my rucksack over my shoulder and rushing towards Rhodes. He seemed pleased to see me, the first member of the Legionnaires to appear so since the beginning of this mission.
“Well we brought you along
“You're up, Sam. See what you can dig up in the way of plans. We need a route to the lab. Also, try get these doors open if you can manage. If not, we'll have Emma's boys make a breach with the shaped charges they brought along.”
“Geez, you don’t
***Sorry, im completely forgot I had German lessons tonight. I will post an extensive post tommorow night. Peace and chicken grease!!!

The crisp ‘snap’ and ‘bang’ sounds filled my ears as peculiar rounds flew out of the major’s gun.
“Maxwell you sly dog!” I though out loud as we all dived for cover. Being an expert in firearms and projectile bullets, I had quickly realised what Ben was firing. Those rounds, known on the black market a
“Give it another go, Sam. See if you can off-line any turrets up ahead and open any sealed doors. We need all the help we can get without the BattleArmor.”
I sighed, pulling out my laptop, ignoring numb sensation that ran down my damaged left arm. For the right price, synthetic arms could act on your nervous systems, giving
The deep and rapid thumps in my chest subsided as the dark figure removed his mask.
“Christ, you nearly gave me a heart attack!” I hissed under my breath, still unsure as to whether or not I was safe. Luckily Tetsuhara was the owner of the mask and suit. I ran my fingers through my hair and let out a huge sigh.
"Alive - but unconscious. Probably a nasty concussion - maybe even a few broken bones. Hard to tell. Get Doctor Saturina's team on the horn - tell them we need a trauma team down here - stat." Maxwell replied as he examined our fallen friend. Although he was alive, a concussion was nothing to joke about.
I had never m
The two blade warriors battled magnificently as our environment suddenly became an earthquake disaster zone. The floor below us crumbled and split, opening gaping death holes that threatened to swallow us whole. I was amongst the majority to get escorted by the Major, who was frequently threatened by the pending loss of comrades. Rhodes, Garland and the two sword fighters were the only ones left in the Lab, which became more and more

I used to play Warhammer 40,000 before i started doing pen and paper RPGs religiously every wednesdays and sundays. However, living within a military environment, friends get posted away and move to different corners of the earth before ya know it. Unfortuantly, all of my buddies who I played RPGs with went about 2 years ago...
I dearly miss those days. We had some great fun playing anime inspired ones as well as Vampire the Massquerade and (once in a while) D & D.

“One witness? Just one?” I asked amidst raised eye brows and unnerved, sweaty brows. Surely the entire planet should be considered a witness?
“Yes. Roughly twenty minutes after our initial investigation began, our team detected a single pilot space craft trave
Saburo and the stranger stood silently, embracing each other tightly. The entire event felt like something out of a soap opera. Saburo’s brother had seemingly appeared from beyond the grave – or so I could gather.
“H-How…” Saburo managed to stutter through the sobbing. The two released themselves from their embrace.

Sound faded into my ears slowly like water trickling into a pond.
“-arms are actually synthetic. We’d remove them for security purposes but that leaves us with two problems. For starters we wouldn’t be able to secure him to the bed with handcuffs. We’d need to use an entire body strap. Of coarse you realize how scarce those are around here…”You would be surprised what your senses blank when you’re threatened, scared or, in Major Canio’s case, arguing. He had completely ignored the sound of my escape from my hospital bed. All it required was correct timing and patients.
The hospital bed security rail collided into the unsuspecting Italian with tremendous force, sending him across the ward room.
We dont celebrate Thanks Giving in the UK (or Germany for that matter)
However, in the spirit if things, I'll take part!
1. Im greatful for the one time the autovending machine did chicken curry correctly.
2. I am greatful that everything worked out well for my family. My Dad getting his new job in Luxembourg, my Mum getting out of her shitty job, my sister getting into boarding school okay and me getting into my flat and registered on the German net okay
In the UK, most pies are assciated as savory. Pork pie, mince beef and oinion pie, chicken and mushroom pie etc. You do get sweet pies in the UK though - mainly apple pie and, for christmas, mince pie. Mince pies DO NOT have mince meat in them... lol
However in Germany, you do get some lovely sweet pies, although I havnt seen any savory ones.
So, my fav is Apfel Struddel of coarse!!
I picked up the microphone and began to sang "Like a Virgin" - Madonna style."Happy birthday!!"
I'll back you up there Captain!
Nothing like a good bar fight to get things started

Just to let everyone know (if they dont already realise) Kei-teh is at Saburo's bed side as he has slid into a mysterious coma...
"You'll get it back later if you can behave yourself." The Captain sneered as he tore my gun from my hands and pocketed it for himself. I stood absolutely bewildered.
“I guess that’s gratitude for ya!” I rep
I crept down the darkened wooden stair way, uncertain of what I might find. My heart was pounding a thousand beats a minute. That glare in his eye - those frightful whispers - that crazed rocking back and forth… Saburo was not himself. We all knew that Saburo was not most stable of people, but right now, buried in the pit of my stomach, there was an unquenchable feeling. It was tearing away at me.

“We need to talk.” I interrupted Charles Maxwell as he quickly twirled the holomag from out of my view - the same holomag he had been staring at all week.
“Do we now?” Charles replied, a look of slight surprise coating his
The sound of the opposite chair’s heels screeching against the solid floor adverted my attention from the photo I held dearly in my hands. As I looked up Charles Maxwell came into my view.
“Well? Have you thought about my proposal?” I immediately asked. It was my turn to hide away my treasured photograph. I buried it dee
"Because, Grisham - I decided some time ago that being able to live with myself was more important." Charles said in genuine tone. I sat back and flashed a quick grin. Perhaps these past weeks of basic living had gotten to Charles after all. Under the surface, there was more to the elder Maxwell then meets the eye. Yes indeed, u
"I'll bet you my next pension check that at least one - if not both - of us is on their 'immediate detention' list - and I'll further wager that it's me." Charles whispered into my ear. I tugged gently at my tie and collar, releasing the built up pressure around my neck.
Small rays of blazing sunlight cracked through the grey clouds as the large swinging doors of the Governor’s Embassy closed behind us.
The usual loud hustle and bustle of the Gellen streets seemed to quieten down. The noises were still there, however, to my ears, nothing could be heard. The sudden realisation of my - her- five year struggle coming to an end had astounded me.
With our mission complete, it mean
Epilogue to Operation XII.
The metallic walls hid away the sunlight of the outside world. The sun's golden rays had cleared away the previous week's horrendous rain and made way for a fresh start. The weather also mimicked the fresh start that was taking place within Crayven's laboratories. I stood quietly, watching through the viewing glass as several clinically dressed scientists ensured their work env
