Timezones

Hello all,

I'm just curious as to which timezone everyone lives in.

I live in GMT-8 or PST.

Im in Central U.S. time. I think that GMT -6 if I remember correctly.

Central time.

Some demented part of me still wants to open this post with 'Where I live, in Newport News...'

Thank god I don't have that luxury anymore.

It's nothing to be proud of, but I live near Houston. Crappy basketball team, crappy hockey team, crappy baseball team, crappy soccer team...

And a crappy city! Don't forget a crappy city!

No offense, but Houston sucks, its a giant roach-motel of a city.

I live in Hardt, a small town just outside Moenchengladbach. It's a nice place, although Moenchengladbach isn't exactly the best of cities.

My parents have a place on the Mosel river in a small town called Bremm which is about 30 mins from Cochem. Now THATS a lovely place! Absolutely peaceful

In case anyone wants to come to Houston to see... well, there's nothing really to see, but... if you're going to Texas, go to Austin or San Antonio. Houston is too spread out, has too many cars, and too many roads.

Austin is cool and has UT.


How far from Zurich is Hardt?

Zuerich to Hardt is like 800 KM!

I would'nt fancy driving all the way from Switzerland to Germany, it would be exhausting

That's weird... one of my friends said she took a train from Zurich to some place... I forget the name now, but she said she stopped in Hardt and got some chocholate o.0

I think you friend is either mistaken or making it up. The closest trainstation to Hardt is Moenchengladbach and again, that is NOWHERE near Switzerland...
